Tide Pool inspired original contemporary felt and embroidered pictures. This is a limited series of just nine pictures, numbered 1 to 9. Individually handcrafted by me by wet felting wool tops and other natural fibres. Lots of  textures are added during the wet felting process. The silk gives a lovely sheen. Each piece is unique, the stitching adapted to complement the felt. No two pieces will ever be the same with wet felting, this is one of the features that make wet felting such a wonderful medium to work with. 

Each picture has been stitched onto conservation mount board, ready to pop into a frame of your choosing. Work measure approx. 7 x 9 cm. The mount board measures 15 cm x 15 cm  (6 x 6 inches).

When choosing a frame 15 x 15 cm (6 x 6in) refers to the 'picture size' that fits within the frame. This is not the outside measurement of the frame. 15 x 15cm (6x6inch) is a popular frame size so you should be able to find a good choice of styles. Please ensure the frame has enough  depth to allow for the felt (approx 0.5 cm (approx. 1/5th inch) Please check measurements of your proposed frame before ordering. 

The title of the work, number in the series and my signature are written on the mount underneath the work. All my pictures are strung onto mount board. You can read why I do this by clicking on my blog. HERE

I am fortunate that a large percentage of my work goes to collectors in the United States of America. All work shipped is carefully packed and insured.

UK deliveries are typically sent out using Royal Mail.

For multiple items please contact me directly as I can combine the postage costs. Please email me if you are a local customer and would like to collect in person to save the delivery cost. Please note I now live in North Yorkshire!
