Rock Pools

Inspiration comes from daily walks on my local beach. I often pick up a limpet shell and like to study their unique mark making. No two are the same! I especially love the beach at low tides, investigating the rock pools, this always reminds me of a very happy childhood. 

My limpets are based on the Eurasian limpet, Patella Vulgata

Handcrafted felt is made using the wet felting technique with Merino wool fibres and silk. Hand stitched with hand painted merino wool and hand dyed silk thread. The work is 3D approximately 2cm of depth (see photo) and is presented in a deep box frame, with plenty of space around to set off the work. 

Many hours goes into producing a piece of work.

Rock Pools  has been professionally framed in a good quality deep box frame, the frame is 3.5cm deep to accommodate the work. It has been double mounted and sits on another mount board which I have written the title of the work and signed. Glazed and sealed, ready to hang. An authentication label which I have also signed along with description and methodology is included.

NORTH AMERICAN DELIVERIES 

Shipping time to North America is historically 7-14 working days with Royal Mail and  then USPS once in the USA and Canada Post in Canada.  I will confirm tracking details once the parcel is on its way to you. 

I am fortunate that a large percentage of my work goes to collectors in the United States of America. All work shipped is carefully packed and insured. Historically no taxes or duties have been levied to my knowledge.

UK DELIVERIES 

UK deliveries are typically sent out using Royal Mail.

For multiple items please contact me directly as I can combine the postage costs. Please email me if you are a local customer and would like to collect in person to save the delivery cost. Please note I now live in North Yorkshire!

I aim to dispatch pictures the next working day. I will let you know once dispatched.
